>Spending at Internet retail sites rebounded to pre-attack levels, with e-tailing sites returning to 97 percent of normal sales volume on Monday of this week, according to BizRate.com, a comparison shopping site and provider of real-time e-commerce research. "The e-commerce industry is beginning to stabilize following a brief period of sharp decline in online sales brought on by the attacks," said Chuck Davis, president and CEO of BizRate.com. Davis expects fourth quarter online sales to generate $11.55 billion in online sales, a 25 percent year-over-year increase.

A survey of online sites found Priceline.com (PCLN: news, chart, profile) saying booking rates have recovered to 65 percent of what they were before this month's attacks.
