Someone else pointed out these plays but I chose to research them for the thread. That is my only contribution.

FWIW - This is my take.
These companies could go broke or they could not.
I really have no idea.
I would not buy such shares for a trading acct.
I would recommend them for an IRA or LTBH.
These are long term plays IMHO.
I am 90% cash right now in my accts and buying stocks with lots of cash will prevent total disaster.

Look at NEWP.
It just refuses to die.
Why.
$7 in cash

Here are some companies high in cash with little debt
CRA
NEWP
TXCC
AVCI
AETH

If I was to go long (for IRA hold purposes) I would put these on my list.

Can someone do a scan of stocks trading within 80% of cash with little debt and post the results.
Those are companies that have a decent chance of holding up no matter what happens.
