Ike, i agree. Earlier, I just re-booked the flight that I was originally booked to fly on September 11 morning. Last night I had potluck dinner with 16 women who had been invited by our hostess to come together to talk about our responses to these recent events. Most of us knew only one other woman there. Speaking from our hearts, we shared and learned so much as included were muslims, jew, pagan, christians in our religious backgrounds. Though we are all US citizens, half of us were immigrant with origins that included french, pakastani, iranian, new zealander, and indian. Two of the youngest informed us on their islamic beliefs and culture as most of us knew so little before about that in particular. We each now intend to repeat the potluck dinner with invitations to a circle of women we know in each of our lives and continue the process of thinking, talking together. I am re-minded of the power of gathering together and moving past the initial hesitations of really communicating what we think and care about in our lives with "strangers." This is what USA is about-our beautiful mix of peoples and heritages and communication, connection. What comes to mind now is, "Can I gather a similar variety of backgrounds? What can I change to be sure my life includes this variety from now on?" namaste, mitzi

Ike, I agree and I am not afraid to fly. Took a flight Sat the 15th, am going again next week, my kids are flying, my sister and husband flew to Europe last week. The important thing: make sure your affairs are in order..make sure you are in right relationship with God. Is there any reason to fear? I think not. God is looking down on the earth and sees a battle between good and evil that has been going on for centuries. This is nothing new...just has come to a peak. Guess what! He is on the side of good. Get on your knees. Pray for America and for a quick destruction of those who desire to destroy us. He sees those poor refugees who are in need of food and shelter and who always goes to their aid.?...America...We WILL win and we WiLL help them once again and there will be a new unity between the east and the west.
