surely we deserve a better explanation.

What can we do, UW? If we have a plane that won't answer, that we believe is hijacked, and is off its flight path, heading toward a possible target, I see no other answer if we can't force it down.

Frankly, in light of what happened on September 11th with planes used as bombs and the number of possible accomplices still out and about according to all the reports we have heard in regards to what was planned and not carried through, I think the order makes perfect sense.

I see a plane was brought back via dual fighter jet escorts to L.A. after an Iranian passenger who got caught smoking in the restroom said some "anti-American" threats.
