Don't discount the role of tax cuts in producing the economic gains which have given us the current surplus. The economic pie can be made to grow and we have proven that. It is partially the belief that the economic pie is finite that is behind the fundamentalists.

I'll read it tonight. Getting ready for sailing now. 9/11 sure has got us thinking things through, hasn't it? I started reading a book by Salinger "America held hostage" about the 1979 incident in Iran. Big difference between what goes on and what is reported to the public.
