Here we go. M&A for telecom sector. BellSouth (BLS) 41.95: Sources at Bernstein telling us that the firm commented on rumors that BLS and AT&T (T 18.70) will merge; says such a deal is consistent with its thesis of consolidation between RBOCs and interexchange carriers such as T and WCOM, but doesn't expect mega-mergers until we are further along in the RBOC long distance approval process.

softie i'm just saying what i see. to look at all those co's would rquire a good 2, 3 hours of analysis on each. i spent alot of time looking at mcld. also if the consideration is for a buyout candidate, the intangibles account comes largely into play. thats a slush acct as i've stated in past posts and no one is going to pay for 50pct of an asset base that is basically, non physical, in conjunction with huge debt. its just my opinion that cash generated from financing is not a good thing. eventually, financing tends to run out, unless the cash from operations becomes more prevalent. was ironic to see wes post an article indicating the same concepts today. i've stated it in a few posts over the last couple of weeks. i do know about mfnx and warned friends to dump it many moons ago around 18 for the same reasons. several thanked me recently for the work, as at the time they had their doubts as well. again, i hope i'm misintrepeting what i see. milesov
