"Interesting if true." Guess that depends on how you define "true" lol
Your ebccomputers.com

SOON CPU-XP1.6G-266 SOON..! AMD Palomino 1600MHz $175 $180.41 Link
SOON CPU-XP1.8G-266 SOON..! AMD Palomino 1800MHz $265 $273.20 Link

And jc-news performance table:
Clock Performance
1333Mhz 1500+
1400Mhz 1600+
1467Mhz 1700+
1500Mhz 1800+
1600Mhz 1900+

Anyway the good news if "true" is the higher K7XP 1.5 and 1.6 GHz pricing. If AMD's "GHz+ chutzpa" (® dhellman) marketing holds, ASP could improve.

cheers,

dave

chutz·pah also hutz·pah (tsp, ht-)

Milo, how do we know those Palominos listed actually run at 1600 and 1800 MHz? It's more likely confusion on the part of the OEM, a sign of things to come:

"What do you mean I got a 1533 MHz part? It said on your web page 1800 MHz!"
