You're tellin me. Was away from the markets yesterday PM. Now I see my FTSE futures short is about 180 pts underwater.

Don't think they will go much higher but I intend to cover soon anyway for damage limitation. Fortunately, the SSTI I bought yesterday has gone up 10%+ so I'm still happy.

Edit - covered FTSE futures at 4883 (sold at 4706). Was a bit of a dumb trade for two reasons:

1) I knew I was gonna be away from the markets for nearly 24 hrs
2) I don't have real time quotes (except by fone) or charts for FTSE 100.

Made the trade cos the Euro indices had been rising more than the US markets and thought there would have to be a readjustment. Maybe the adjustment will be in the form of US markets going up? I doubt it but maybe. Will probly kick myself later when the FTSE falls but didn't want to be exposed to end of Q rally or finding Bin Laden rally plus am probly going to have no access to markets for whole of next week.

Back to the sidelines mainly.
