I'm not sure they are if, for example, they clothe themselves to emulate the animals they desire to be one with, or they have rituals to become one with animals, etc. And of course, some cultures wear no clothing, relieve themselves where other animals relieve themselves-btw, you may not know that animals with homes are extremely careful not to pile crap in their burrows/nests. Rodents, for example, usually have special toiletting areas- to name but one animal with a special area for relieving itself. Almost every behavior that one thinks of as human, can be found in the animal kingdom. You can of course argue that because we are different than other species, as all species are distinct from one another, that we cannot help to distinguish ourselves- but this is not the intention of many cultures. The intention is to become one in a seamless web- I don't think you can finesse that by saying they are distinguishing themselves merely because they are a different species
