Hi JT; Window dressing OR reallocation of Balanced FUNDs , likely the latter a little more than the first. Take a Balanced Fund that tries to stay 50/50 bonds and stocks, at quarters end If their Bonds are UP and Stocks down , they sell some Bonds to Buy some Stocks, ( look at end of day to see if Bond prices dropped & interest rates are up some ). --------------- Reallocation is the one time interest rates tend to rise in a bear market at the same time that stocks rally; as balanced funds balance. Jim It's 3:04 and now moving up looks like the Flag is going to validate !!! I now feel 90% sure it will. <VBG> VBG because I really had my doubts, if it does don't worry about a pull back Monday, BUY it. Jim
