and requires the "whipping up of hysteria"? On the contrary I think whipping up of hysteria is counter productive to the situation. It is unecessarily destroying whole travel and hotel industries, skewing charitable contributions away from worthy goals, and creating an army of jingoists ready to shout down thoughtful consideration or beat up the dark haired. The situation leads itself to enough concern that Bush does not need to compare it to Pearl Harbor at every chance. TP
