Have you not heard of neutron decay?

encyclopedia.com

[ In a nucleus the neutron can be stable, but a free neutron decays with a half-life of about 17 min (1,013 sec), into a proton, an electron, and an antineutrino. ]

Sorry, I was recalling from memory (always dangerous with subatomic particles species) and I said neutrino. It is an antineutrino.

More pair production, another reversible reaction.
