My favorite turn around play in the CLEC field (MCLD) really rocketed today.... <<Shares of McLeodUSA are soaring 155 percent to 79 cents as the fourth most active issue on the Nasdaq. Volume is hitting 36.3 million shares - three times its 50-day average trading volume. Its shares opened for trading Sept. 20 at 68 cents and closed for trading Sept. 27 at 31 cents. After the bell Thursday, the competitive local exchange carrier released a statement saying it believed its stock had been trading "irrationally" based on "groundless rumors." McLeodUSA said it was confident in its future and had "absolutely no intention of filing for bankruptcy.">> Lets see if we get some follow through next week....=) Regards, Scott
