With all due respect, I don't think Mr. Ennes understands the re-flagging issue. Many Egyptian ships carried the American flag and false English markings. It's a very old naval trick (goes back hundreds, maybe even thousands of years).

I feel for the sailors, because they do not know what the Egyptians were up to & that an American ship could be mistaken for a camouflaged enemy ship. Of course, no one still has a motive, any more than anyone has a motiove as to why a U.S. pilot would shoot down two BLackhawk Helocopters with large American markings, when the Iraqis were nowhere nearby, and had no helicopters of that sort. In war, people get scared, think the enemy is up to trick, and make mistakes.
