Dipy: Let's compare appples to apples. You picked GPS and said it would outperform my various pieces of trash, and you are flat out wrong as of today. As far as bubble stocks are concerned, three of them are in an industry that will grow 15 % year over year for the foreseeable future--semis. One is the mighty INTC--hardly a bubble pick. One of my dogs, AVCI has a terrific product, and will come back if the networking market picks up as will JNPR. As far as TMTA, there is no doubt in my mind that VLWI is the way the wave of the future. SEBL has a terrific franchise. AOL is the internet. AMAT will be supplying fabs long after you and I retire. Cien is key to the critical last mile. EMC is the superstar of storage, and will have terrific growth in the new world reality. Finally, JNIC at the price I picked represents a terrific play.

Which gets down to the difference between stocks that were clearly overvalued (As many of these were), and stocks that continue to have terrific growth prospects.

At the levels I made my picks I don't need any bubble--just soon to arrive value players.
