I guess it depends on the definition of the word "innocent', because that is open to judgment. I've known police and FBI agents. I also know that other police and FBI agents have done bad, with the assent of their superiors.

There was too much done in Central America to put great faith in the innocence of our government. Like all professions, I'm sure most CIA agents are good decent people. Likewise, some are likely not.

I have no axe to grind nor proof to offer. With more research, I suspect I can provide credible facts that might not convict in a court of law but would raise serious questions to any reasonably objective person.
