fin, It's funny to read the AMD thread, even those guys are getting confused by the numbers. And they spend 80% of their waking hours gnashing their teeth over AMD's next spectacular product release. The poor consumer won't have a clue. The only thing the consumer knows is MHz. He's going to ask a clerk about an AMD machine, and the clerk is going to say "it's 1800 MHz, except it's really not, I think it's about 1400 MHz, at least that's what AMD says". And the consumer is going to say "what do you have from Intel". A real harebrained plan, can't wait to see how they execute. John
