If you are referring to Israel specifically, Britain wanted no part in forming a "Jewish" State. They walked away from the problem for they saw what was about to happen. They put the problem on the UN (I thought the League of Nations was still in effect at the time, but it was dissolved in 1946). So are you saying that Britain was the colonial power who were responsible for creating those other countries that you mentioned previously? I agree. If bin Laden is guilty ( Ihave seen no proof offered yet), then we should demand his extradition, and short of that, we should go and get him, try him, and if found guilt, HANG him on International television. I was refering to civilians who are living in their own countries who are casualties, not necessarily those who were in the WTC. Speaking of the French, they are the #2 armament supplier to the world.
