It's because the attacks hit the United States that the reaction has been so exaggerated I think that is true. Just look at our reaction to Pan Am 103. It happened in Europe but we did not reform airport security like we should have. The Bush plan does not go far enough. There is an editorial in today's Seattle P-I which points that out. The Bush plan for airport security still leaves us open to bombs being planted and still depends on private security.
