Jock,

The Nasdaq 100 trades at something like 55 times next year's estimates earnings. And this assumes that next year's earnings will be double what they were this year, i.e. a super-robust recovery.

This is a market bottom? With valuations higher than at previous market tops? You would be lucky if this doesn't bleed any further. And even that is asking for a lot.

... it is very likely that a tech stock moves in a 300% range over the course of a year.

Jock, even 300% will not help with two of your picks -- AVCI and TMTA. Two other picks, CIEN and JNPR, are almost there. And guess what -- these are the lowest-priced stocks of the lot.

So, while 300% moves are possible, especially with penny stocks like AVCI and TMTA, that won't buy you anything. You will be still under water.
