Where did your muse go? Lol. I work with a dude that is about a devout a Buddhist as they get. I call him the Bad Ass Buddha. I told him yesterday that there was going to be a massive layoff today, and he quipped "It could be worse, the people getting laid off could have been at the WTC." Today, we had the second 20% layoff in 6 months. I found his remarks insignificant. Let me set the record straight. What does it gain a man to trade his soul for the world? I think, it is a bad deal. Furthermore, I think that this is not a totally Christian idea. I find it comforting to know that I do not have to live like Gandhi in order to receive a reward. Whether or not Gandhi receives an eternal reward, I can only hope. But, all I know is, I couldn't be like Gandhi. I do not think.
