I happen to think that even though things are relative (imo) that I can still choose to think that good is that which hurts the fewest number of people, and bad is that which hurts the most people. That it is good to increase joy and happiness and comfort in the world, and that it is bad to contribute to misery and degradation. I arrived at this rather alarming philosophy simply from observation. It appears to be highly problematic for many people. I am sticking with it anyway, since I don't find a rational alternative. If I do, I'll change, of course.
