I've never flown El Al or been to the middle east, (or have any desire to ever go there in the future), but I do travel to and through Europe several times a year. Even before this attack happened, I was struck by the different approach that most foreign governments have towards airport security. Q&A and multiple searches are, and have been, the norm there before boarding any flight. On the other hand, the US has devoted most of its resources to tearing apart arriving passengers, in its holy quest to find a couple of joints or a bag of cocaine. Stupid, bass ackward policy, IMO.
