Sorry, I haven't studied the time lines of how long it takes for the last of the "love" stocks to fall. Past bear markets though have shown that the DOW type issues are usually the last to go so the GEs and PGs may be last and the QCOMs may be 2nd to last. On the bounce, the CYC is generally accepted as the first to bounce along with small and mid caps if I recall correctly.

Each of the bear markets I looked at took different amounts of time to find a bottom and to bounce. The 29 to mid thirties actually had numerous large rallies and then lower lows lasting years as each cycle worked it's way through before a lasting bottom was made. Rallies of 50% were common so who knows if we will have to have a total wash out before a rally starts or we will get a fake but tradable rally then another sharp decline.
