You did make up this model. The Polictically Correct Model" as many here would describe it, come mostly from faculty and administrators in US colleges and universities.

Make up your mind Mary, you say I made it up then in the same breath you say it came from "faculty and administrators in US colleges and universities". Try and be consistent.

To ascribe your model and all attendant conclusions to these people is fiction - to put it most gently. To call them "thought police" and "storm troopers" may have started out as being cute. Like from clever, but rebellious, undergraduates. But, now it has take on tones of "seriousness" by the less cute and educated that does not contribute to any meaningful understanding. It is being used as punctuation.

I didn't ascribe the model to anyone, you did. Just like you were the only one to bring up the subject of "hate". If some group behaves like storm troopers or thought police than it's hardly a crime to call them such, if only metaphorically. Just like some people are more concerned with defending the model than getting the right outcome, you seem more offended by the name than the behavour.

My position is this: I'm describing the model used to justify the social engineering that takes place today. I cut through all the smoke and mirrors and cut to the chase. You may not agree but many people do. To deny that the model has validity is to deny the opinion of a great many people. We shouldn't discard the opinions of people in this society just because it makes those in power uncomfortable. To discard the opinion of many is elitist, to put it politely.

I believe there should be equal opportunity for all. However we should not define equal simply by the outcome because the model may be flawed. Apparrently you don't even think there is a model.
