They have no reason to be that expensive. Since everything else in PC space has more than halved in price in the last 12months, there is no reason for mobos to sell at the same price as two yrs ago. Eventually, someone will sell them cheaper. My guess is sooner.

Anyway, ECS K7 mobos in Toronto area is selling for what works out to us$70, I think there is some gouging here as the supply still is low.
