You made up the model in question. If there is a "Politically Correct Model" it would most likely come from faculty and administrators at US colleges and universities and subscribed to by all major corporations in the United States.

The model I described IS the "Politically Correct Model". I just described it. As you point out, I didn't make it up. If I had it would surely be a different model.

Your views on "race" if you can articulate it, is very unlikely to be shared by George W. Bush or anyone (maybe 1) in his cabinet. By all account he is not a raging Liberal.

You still don't get it. You just assume what my view is because I don't rush in to defend the model. I haven't been talking about race, only models and the psychology of those who embrace them. You seem preoccupied with race and hatred. You have proven one of the tenets of the model, anything than can be explained in terms of racism IS racism. No other explanations need be considered. I don't think this type of closed mindedness is healthy in an open society.

Here is my view on race: Race/Religon/Color/Gender/Ethnicity/Sexual preference (did I leave anything out?) should not be an issue when considering someone for an opportunity in work or housing. To do so is morally wrong and I have no problem with it being legally wrong as well. Favoritism is as bad as discrimination. I would hope that that is everyone's view and hopefully some day it will be.

What goes on in a person's private thoughts, who he/she likes or dislikes and for whatever reason is not something we need to explain to the likes of you.

Mary, <You must think that you speak for a "silent majority" that share you views. The trouble with the concept of a "silent majority" is that it is silent.>

Well duh. If they spoke out, they'd be hunted down one-by-one by the "vocal minority" in positions of power, thanks to their divide-n-conquer tactics (tm Jimmy Mac).
