The implications of your answer, beg the question.

Just as the implications of your inanity beg our pity, and ridicule....

What do I have do Len.. give you a grade-school history lesson??

Do you need a lesson about how the Persians kicked Egypt's butt and conquered them.

Should I remind you that NO EGYPTIAN RULED OR GOVERNED in the Nile Delta region between 343 BC, during the reign of the last Pharoah, Nectanebo II, and 1952AD, when Nasser took power from King Farouk... That's over 2,000 years that Egypt DID NOT EXIST AS A NATION/STATE.

In between, it was ruled by the Persians, the Greeks, the Romans, the Byzantines and then the Sassanids of Persia, and then the Arabs who swept in from Saudi Arabia.

You can read the rest regarding the Islamic period of rule over the region for yourself at the link below:

islam.org

But the bottom line is if you're willing to state that Egypt's right to exist as a nation/state resides upon some semblance of a historical/geographical argument, it's self-defeating..

Because the same argument can easily be made for Israel, and probably should be since Egypt makes no bones about promoting their historical status as foundation of their legitimacy, when in fact Egypt today isn't even of the same religious faith, or language, as existed 2,000 years ago. No one speaks Ancient Egyptian anymore.. But millions of Jews speak Hebrew.

Thus, Egypt can rightfully be referred to, as such, only in name... They feel only a superficial linkage to their past, and are far more attached to their Arabic culture.

In fact, were it not for the US pressuring Britain and France to decolonize, Egypt might never have been granted their independence.

Additionally, Egypt being granted their independence in 1922, probably fired up the cause for Jews to claim that they had every historical right to re-establish the ancient state of Israel.

Either way... might makes right in that part of the world. Some silly-@ssed words spewing for some historically handicapped individual like yourself isn't going to change that.

Now why don't you take some time and crack open a few historical tomes about the region before you start making these kinds of specious claims.
