Geezus Len.... Is Saudi Arabia part of Egypt?? Is Greece part of Egypt?? Is Rome part of Egypt?? Is Turkey part of Egypt?? Did they all have to come across the Mediterrean to de-colonize Egypt?? And yes Hebrew WAS reintroduced.. And it IS the national language of Israel.. When will Egypt return to using Hieroglyphs and speaking ancient Egytian?? Finally, the reason the Jews are coming from around the world, is because that's where they have been scattered since the Romans drove them out. And they have been persecuted by almost every society they have lived in. They've been called christ killers and were relegated to "dishonorable" jobs(in medieval terms) such as money changing and as merchants. And when they turned those occupations into the foundation for the current economic system, the world immediately began accusing them of being "bloodsuckers", leeching off all that is "good and decent" in various Christian kingdoms. Hell, even the early Muslims treated the Jews better than did the Catholics (the inquisition).. But it's this attitude that has been perpetuated by people like yourself, that led to the Nazi anti-semitism, and the murder of over 6 million Jews in a span of 4-5 years. And you have the gall the deny them a chunk of land from a conquered empire, but are perfectly content to permit the Egyptians to rule over and supress groups like the Coptics?? You will spend endless hours railing against a nation that has been under almost constant physical and political attack since its inception 53 years ago, yet you won't lift a finger to help the Sunni muslims who have been massacred by the Alawite(shiite) minority of Syria??? You will claim that it's not fair for Israel to be a "Jewish" state, when NONE OF ITS NEIGHBORS will permit Jews to have the same political representation that Arabs enjoy in Israel?? In sum... there is NO REAL DISTINCTION between the "creation" of Egypt and Israel. Both are artificial... Both have historical claims to legitimacy. Both have minorities that are not quite as "equal" as their majorities. And both states are only at peace with one another because of the tremendous US financial aid that has purchased that peace for the past 20 years. And both states exist only through their collective force of will and military might. Now Len.. I'm getting sick of trying to explain basic middle eastern history to you.. If you can't do better than you have to date, with regard to you arguments, I'm just going to ignore you. You can't discuss the complexities of a regional conflict unless you're willing to learn the historical basis for that conflict, as well as being able to discern what's objective history, and what's dysfunctional historical revisionism.
