More tips before you fire someone These are all good tips but I have never had to lay off someone or "fire" them due to lack of needing their work. I have had three people over close to thirty years I did dismiss. Once was for internal theft and twice for missing work too often. This year we have added four additional people to our staff. We are much smaller than these other firms. I am the TI person (can't find anyone else)so I disable the account immediatly. Also in store non computer oriented security pass codes. I would like the idea of voice identification rather than passcodes. I have never had a problem but an unhappy employee that shared a passcode but that could happen. It is really difficult to share a voice. The system would have to work perfectly. Not most or part of the time.
