Of course the US doesn't always support the Israelis! Anyone who claims otherwise has blinders on or has an agenda. And Israel only succumbs to US pressure as long as US support outweighs the value of taking "drastic" action. Israel has sacrificed its international support in the past when that sacrifice was outweighed by the strategic value of pouncing on its enemies. Likewise Israel toes the fine line with joint US-Israeli defense technology research, which the Israelis have been accused of selling in the past. I am the last to claim that Israel is a spotless virgin, white as the driven snow. But cripes, the alternatives are sobering. Derek
