When I was in college during the Viet Nam days, I saw many of the most aggressive types suddenly become pacifists as they drove their Corvettes to Canada.

Did VietNam attack U.S. mainland then?

Yep... but the Vietnamese never attacked the US, so I guess I could understand their "reluctance" to join.

I tend to believe this situation is a tad different. Now we're under attack, and not only does the threat exist as we've all been warned it had, but it's now being carried out against us.

And there's nowhere to hide this time around... Because we're talking about the use of weapons that even the US and USSR weren't willing to unleash upon one another.

I personally don't believe those guys were checking out those crop dusters merely to set themselves up for a new line of work in case they decided not to plunge themselves into the WTC or Pentagon... do you??

Nope... I could understand anti-war movements then, but this time it's different, no matter how much many of us refuse to ignore that fact.
