Falwell didn't and won't.
Falwell used the greatest tools at his disposal to hurt innocent people. The fact that he had tools more subtle than a bomb does not excuse that he tries to make people conform to his way of thinking by making them terrified not to. There is not a dime's worth of difference between Falwell and Khomeini.
