As a testimony of early Christians, I have no objection. When he said he interviewed three survivors of Massada, I accept that as a testimony. Now, what kind of source does he provide on the Jesus case, how much time before, how independent were his informers ? Finally, isn't he the man who pretended he escaped alone from a general murder of his clan in ways that are not so easy to believe ?

As for myself, interested in history rather than religion or faith, I do not see why Jesus had to exist, or Moses ? I need hard facts from different and independent sources. Story tellers existed much before Hollywood, and success was much easier to come by, then. And the more details we get, the less I am inclined to follow. Now if Roman archives mention anything on Jesus, I'll gladly read them.

Disclaimer : there is no attack against believers here, from whatever religion. But I do have a problem in accepting as facts what sounds like legends, however successful they are. BTW, that includes Mohamed from Mecca, taking off to paradise, from Jerusalem of course, riding his horse.
