A Joe: God forgive me but I have to say this: I spent entirely too many years in a Ph.D. program at a large University studying, among other people, Kant. I then taught Kant (among other philosophers) in my ethics classes for twelve years. I know a thing or two. Am I overly impressed by what he had to say, limited to such statements as, "Oh wow, I don't know what the hell this guy is saying so it must be deep?" Hardly. Kant was much smarter than I. Are you smarter than Kant?
