Rich, in a rational world the first part (attacks usually are done when chances of success are best),of what you say is probably true, but these people aren't rational. I sincerely believe that you are wrong in the second part. (so maybe Bin Laden feared that Clinton would have been a tougher opponent.)

Rich the man was a fng coward. Most military people are conservatives. Most peace and kumbaya singers are liberals.
