Gary,

We can not make it for the Michigan game, Joe has to teach on Friday and be in Morristown NJ to teach on Monday. With the travel problems these days, he is going to head for NJ on Saturday since it is important that he be there.

IMO the Iowa game was all about taking advantage of the other teams mistakes. We did put together a 90 yard march down the field which was good. There were to many stupid mistakes. I suspect that the offense practices with Senncca and when Mills takes over things are not a smooth as they should be.

The Iowa coach has done a good job down there and he has some talent.

One thing is for certain ... there is no fire in the bellies of these kids. We were close enough to the field to watch them practice before the game and the emotion of "lets kick their butt" is just not there.

I do not know why the defense did not put heat on the Iowa quarter back. He had all day long to get ride of the ball. It must be because we have some weakness in the secondary.

One thing we need to remember is we have a lot of young players and they are going to make a lot of mistakes. It is obvious that no one has stepped up to the plate in leadership positions on either the offense and defense. Hopefully sooner instead of later this will happen.

The special teams did good!!!!!!

BTW, 2100 tickets were returned to Iowa from PSU, so there were not a whole lot of PSU folks in attendance.
