That's not even the problem.
the problem is the rule changes with the soes system (for example) that they did when the market peaked.

It was the big moneys means of gaining control of what they previously lost. (soes abuse)

the problem is it back fired and the momentum longs became momentum shorts because they couldn't buy at the market and drive the price higher.

I think it's all a product (or Karma if you will) of the rule changes that wall street thought they could screw the public with ,,,,(SUPER SOES KARMA)...to regain control.

Now the public and Hedge funds have adapted and they are crying again...

What do you want. SOES abuse or short abuse. You can't have both at the same time.

Everybody has their number. They are all over their jockstrap. And they are crying. I feel sorry for them. Life must be tough.

>>Even seasoned investment professionals seemed surprised by the dramatic fashion in which the dot-com bubble burst. <<

Oh, I guess it was OK and normal when internets shot up 3000% in one day but it isn't OK for them to drop 50% in a day. What a bunch of clowns!!!

Good Finds and Good Luck,

Lee

Here's how you can do your part to end the evil malignancy that is short-selling. Sign a goofy petition thought up by some crackpots.
petitiononline.com

Individual comments on the petition are both impossibly hilarious and very frightening, since I imagine the financial knowledge of the average lawmaker in this country is a lot closer to those petition signers than the readers of this thread.

<<Short selling is a malignancy that must be wiped out.>>

What a load of BS. Not one shread of quantitative or empirical evidence to support his delusional theories. Just another clownish windbag who got caught long and lost his arse, IMO.
