Maleeha Lodhi, You did your country proud There is a rash of articles on the use of suicide as a weapon. The high priests of Islam, call them what you will, condemn US for its policies, no matter what they are, call US as a worthy devil and leave deep footprints on the minds of impressionable followers. They brainwash the susceptible young men wet behind the ears to go and fight Jews, Americans, the west and the infidels. Now that these men already robotized, work in all parts of the world as sleepers, waiting to be awakened and carry out their mission. They would like to take on their perceived enemies on an equal footing, but they cannot because they lack the resources and the skill and they go for the cheap and despicable ways. There is also a feeling of inferiority, inadequacy, and failure in that their civilization did not advance beyond the glory days of distant past. The harsh landscape made them harder. The idea of democracy and the attendant give and take are alien to them. There are statistics to indicate that more muslims are killed by fellow muslims in the muslim world than are killed in non-muslim countries like India. A muslim is safer in India and the west than in a muslim country. The immigration of muslims into the west is proof beyond question. The sectarian violence among muslims is very brutal. The high priests are responsible for them. Why is the sudden outrage expressed on the landing of Americans in their Holy Land? The British were there before. Since they did not advance in education, they became very limited in their worldview of things unknown to them. There is also a gradation of value of the life of an individual based on several factors. The women and children are at the lower end of value and are only chattels. The very fact that a woman and a child can be killed with impunity is an example of lack of respect for life, that too the life of their own flesh and blood, near and dear. If there is no respect for the life of their own flesh and blood, the life of others and by extension their own lives have no value for them. Keeping the women under wrappers and as far away as possible from books and at the same time marrying several women are some of the vestigial practices. Can you imagine that a man, that too a stranger beats up a woman whose veil has just shifted accidentally exposing part of the face ? If a man can marry several women, why should not the woman marry many men? It is refreshing to see Maleeha Lodhi a woman of pakistani origin to be the ambassador to US. She is apparently beyond religion and other provincial constraints. Her eloquence speaks for itself . How many women were deprived of that talent from developing by the maniacs? She was a potential victim of this terrorism for she had a son she has not heard from for several hours following the collapse of WTC. On top of that when there is a promise of nubile virgins waiting for them in heaven for killing infidels, the inducement is inviting and irresistible. The rabid mullahs are to blame for all these happenings. The system is rigid and is ready to break.

The president of pakistan appeared smugly satisfied with himself when he delivered the address to the nation and also when he gave a lengthy interview to the CNN Correspondent. It is worrying to see a man whose country harbors terrorist outfits to be so confident and associates with Taliban. His body language was not at all of the one who is a friend of the US. It appeared as if he was glad to be under witness protection and he and his country were given a reduced sentence for cooperation in apprehending a known but wily criminal. It appeared that he derived a vicarious pleasure in the recent catastrophe and secretly enjoyed that Americans came to him seeking help in intelligence sharing. It is noteworthy to record that he is only on a need-to-know basis. Thank God. We cannot risk giving all the details to this guy. It is better not to use his country for any seek-and-destroy activities. Kitty Hawk will replace the land mass needed for operations without the ISI snooping on the operations. Who knows, the fundamentalist elements in ISI and military may pass critical info to the enemy.
