If we get rid of the border, we'll be invading Canada and taking all their trees.

When I have thought of the continenteal border I was still assuming that there would the borders as they exist. remember we have Canucks up here you dont want and there is the odd Amaerican we would prefer not to have on our frozen tundra.

I think the idea is that the borders into our contries are most closely aligned in terms of rules, checks and balances. etc. I thionk that is in the best interest of both of our countries which I will say again are joined at the hip physically and financially.

There has been a lot of quiet finger pointing at Canada as being the launching pad for getting into the USA - I dont deny that. Those facts are clear. The reason they say is the US customs are more lenient at the CDN/US borders. That is not Canads fault of course as that burden must still lie with the USD customs. Some of this could be averted if we have use perhaps the highest common denominator. Canada has long been knowwn as a safe haven for those fleeing wars. A great example is our Nigerian born Olympic Gold medal champion.

At the end of the day I have enough worries in my life - War, a bomb dropping, a whacko living down the street with chemical weapons is not one that I want. I think we all need to give it up a bit on the rights of the individual over the greater good of society. Or we may no longer have much of a society.

Now for the important things - I must go get my footbal lotto picks in LOL
