If you do not have the latest driver, the instructions below will be quite different. Go to your display properties, "Settings", "Advanced", "Dual-Head" You will see a tree view with Features and Advanced Settings. (This is all new for this version - there are similar settings on previous versions, but not in a tree view). Expand the Features tree. Select "Dual-Head Multi-Display. Click "Change Settings" Check "Use DualHead Multi-Display. Select "Separate resolutions and color palettes for both displays". Cick OK. I think you will have to re-boot at this point. After rebooting, go into Display Properties, Settings again. You should see two blue boxes, with "1" and "2" on them. You should also see a drop-down box from which you can select one of your displays. You can either click on the big "1" or "2", or drop-down to select a display. You can change settings independently for each display. You can use the "identify" button to determine which display is which. Look toward the bottom of this dialog box. You will see two check-boxes, "Use this device as the primary monitor", and "extend my Windows desktop onto this monitor". On one of the monitors, these will both be checked and grayed-out. Go to the other one, and check "Extend my Windows desktop onto this monitor" You may not be able to use the second display until you set the display type. You should set the display type for each monitor. Select the first monitor, click "Advanced", select "Monitor Settings", check "Use customizations to Windows Monitor settings". Then click on "Selection customizations from the matrox list". Find your monitor and go through the setup. Repeat this for monitor #2. Your monitors will show-up in windows as simply "Default Monitor. Matrox applies customizations on top of this that are, unfortunately, transparent to Windows. There are some significant improvements in this version. I found that I can now actually run both monitors at 1600x1200, 32-bit,
