I am sure that Iraq and Serbia would love to have the US on trial. Anybody who has ever been a soldier or any government official could be detained if they ever went overseas. I can point to a number of people on this thread and the rest of SI who would love to put US citizens on trial. So, no, I don't think we favor the proposed court having jurisdiction over us.

I find these kinds of European moves very hypocritical. Put Milosevic on trial, intervene in Serbia, but forget about Chechnya... well don't do anything about it. Though I don't think the US or any other country is any better, but maybe they should all be a bit less pretentious.
