No problem... it's a different perspective than has been traditionally flung around by political scientists, since most folks intuitively, but erroneously, believe Egypt has been some kind of homogenous society for the past 2,000 years. They think Egypt.. Pyramids and Sphinx... and all of sudden their geographical borders are legitimized.

But that's a true double standard in my opinion, since were it not for the Hebrews/Jews, the entire geographical and socio-political importance of Palestine would amount to practically nothing. It is the ancient historical legacy of Israel, and the holy sites upon which 3 great religious beliefs center, that provides it the importance that it has.

Palestine, after the dispersion and slaughter of the Jews by both the Romans and Crusaders, was nothing. It had no identity except for that lent to it by it's conquerors and occupiers.

So in my mind, if Egypt wishes to "re-create" an ancient societal legacy, they certainly have no right to deny the same for the Israelis, who's ancestors were the ones that provided that region its written and spiritual history.

Take care of yourself as well K... Let me know if you get ahold of Sy.
