You are so right. Someone asked me today "Now what difference do these new laws mean to you personally?" Should I repeat "when they came for the Jews I wasn't a Jew so I didn't mind",,,,,etc etc etc. Every asset forfeiture, every broken into house, every innocent citizen killed by a government agent, who NEVER ever are held accountable....every one of them means something to me and my freedom personally. It reminds me of something a lawyer teaching a legal assistant class I took...said...someone had complained about people "getting off" on technicalities. He said "Your liberties DEPEND upon those technicalities...if those technicalities do not protect the guilty occasionally they will never protect the innocent either". People just don't understand, that is why we are in the mess we are in and why we are losing, have lost, the most wonderful country ideals and experiment in the history of the world. JMO Freeus
