He is an Iranian Brigadier General, a veteran of the Iraq/Iran wars. So he is a real person, but you are right, that fabricated story shows up in none of the normal places. He must have just now made it up. Sheesh! The immediate clue that it was fake is that a civilian airline pilot could not get the Medal of Honor. That poster need a nice "vacation."
