<<also, what is your suggestion for how we pro-actively deal with future terror attacks on our own soil. >>

exactly what has bene going on for the last two and a half weeks- old fashioned detective work in coorperation with law enforcment agencies from countires all over the world. A lot of terrorist info has been dug up in the last few weeks and many have been questioned and some have been arrested. A lot of these people are talking. A lot has been learned.

Another remedy is to put experienced professional mamagement in place in important airport and other transportation control points.

Massport is the state agency that runs Logan Airport in Boston where the two WTC planes left from. One of the Board members of Massport is a hood, a union thug. The director's job is a political hack appointment. The MAssport security director graduated to his job from being the driver for the Governor. This is ridiculus.

And the FAA's chief of security at Logan for the last two years never even bothered to get her security pass so she could access high-security areas of the airport to see what was going on.

The complacency of these people is disgraceful and inexcusable. So now we have extra state cops and even National Guard troops at Logan airport. This won't help at all. What would help is to see some resignations over there and put experienced professional mamagement in place.

The third point in my mind is to gain some control over our borders, and to enforce Visa expirations. People coming in the US must be screened for criminal backgound, including criminal acts they've done in other countries..

And if somebody whose visa is expired has not left the country they should be tracked down and picked up. They should not be allowed to hang out in the US for as long as they want. 15 of the 19 terrorists on 9/11 were in the US on expired Visas.

There are many steps we can take, we are not powerless. What do you think of these suggestions?
