I agree with you 100% and have once again had the opportunity to feel ashamed of my own coward government (Swedish) - supposedly neutral whatever happens. Just like during WW2, when we decided to not do a damn thing and let German troops pass through our country to invade our neighboring brother-countries (Norway, Denmark). And to think of the fact that this attitude has been idolized as peace-loving is just shameless and absurd... Add to that a complete lack of understanding and gratitude for what the US did for Europe.

However, the story is completely different with my current country of residence - Spain. It has given full support to the US on all levels through president José Maria Aznár and the Spanish should really be proud of their current government and its political stance.
