OK M, you left me laughing.

I'm sure you're right over any reasonable time period (longer than a day or two). The mudslide of bad stuff will sweep everything down over time. So I certainly don't expect any major sustained upturn. I guess I was more concerned that with the increased volatility the past 2 weeks its good to respect even the short-lived counter-trend spikes.

Your approach is basically to ride out the volatility, and so far it seems to work great. So quite likely I'll come along on that ride too. tty tomorrow morning.
