Que, Thanks for the article. I love it when the fundamentalists blast the U.S. for supporting "authoritarian" regimes such as Egypt, Saudi and Kuwait. If it weren't for the U.S.'s meddling, all Islamic states would be open and free democracies such as Iraq, Libya, Afghanistan, and the Sudan, one supposes. Saw secret camera footage of the Taliban filling their soccer stadium with "fans" to witness the execution (straight out of Schindler's List) of a kneeling woman in full chador. Pretty hard to watch; I suppose her crime was learning to read and write. Kb
