Tim, I see that AMD is set to release their 1.1GHz Duron tomorrow, with volumes available some time in fourth quarter (read: volumes in late December). But the interesting thing is that that this new release wasn't "quantized". I'd love to hear the AMD response to why the Athlon deserves a fake model rating, but their value end chip with the same architecture does not. Let's give another cheer for AMD marketing.
